Services and objectives of CHEPSOT community based organization
1. Animal husbandry
- Generating scientific knowledge on farmer-based
solutions (FBS)
2. Crop rotation
Improve the economic conditions of farmers by lobbying for financial services to be extended to them
3. Seed breeding
Disseminate findings, insights and experiences on FBS to influence national policy and facilitate wider use
4. Seedling research and supply
To scale -up the implementation of farmer based solutions regionally
5. Training and supporting farmers
The general purpose of this community-based organization is to help farmers by conducting field research, acquiring first-hand information on different types of crops, yielding and supplying tree seedlings and training the farmers on both technical and economic part of farming with its relation to climate change mitigation.
