and empowerment
of farmers, with the mission of training and working
with farmers to design and deliver food risk reduction projects involving
farmer-based solutions (FBS)
1) To generate scientific knowledge on farmer-based solutions (FBS)
2) To enhance understanding of the importance of FBS
3) Promote and ensure farmers access to information and training services in our local area
4) Improve the economic conditions of farmers by lobbying for financial services to be extended to them
5) Disseminate findings, insights and experiences on FBS to influence national policy and facilitate wider use
6) To scale -up the implementation of FBS regionally
